Can't Help You"We can't help you if you can't help yourself."
I say that now. Many times to mom. You've started down the really bad road, And who knows if you'll ever turn around. Cutting, smoking, stealing, drugs. Is it all just a game to you? I try to help you, Guide you down the right path. But you shun me, And turn your back.
How am I supposed to help you, If you can't even help yourself?
I hate how everyone takes it so lightly, "Oh, poor little Amanda." "It's because of what happened to her." "She does it because she's depressed." "Well, she doesn't always take her medication."
How does that have anything to do with her actions? W Can't Help Youin Poetry and Prose

Memories of the PastI've known you for two years now. When I look back, And the memories start to flow, The pain starts to come back too.
It was during the last week of school, When my friend said I should meet you, You were very cool.
So she gave me your email, I sent you one, hoping my dream would come true.
My dream of being with someone, Feelings their arms around me, Knowing they loved me.
You sent me one back. We talked and talked into the night and decided to meet the next day.
My friend walked me to you, Butterflies in my stomach, My mind going wild.
I finally laid my eyes on you. You walked away, and I followed. I told you my name, Memories of the Pastin Poetry and Prose

For DustinWe were very young when we first laied eyes upon each other, In your driveway we met. We played for hours eachday and always giddy and gay.
I can't quite remember all the things we used to do, but I know that it was time well-spent with you.
I do rememeber though, In the spring, the hollow tree and the forest so new, In the summer, around the campfire and playing tag, In the fall, making castles with your leaves, In the winter, having snowball fights.
A lot of time has passed since then, As I look back on the days we spent together I can't help but smile. You've always been in my life, And we've always been there for each other. For Dustinin Poetry and Prose

A little longerI've screwed up once. I've screwed up twice. One more time and I'll be outta here.
So, I'm going to do my best not you hurt you anymore. And from now on I'm going to Hold you a little tigher, Kiss you a little longer, Smile at you a little bigger, Hold you close to me a little tigher, Play with you a little longer, Laugh with you a little harder, Sing with you a little louder, Rest with you a little longer, Dance with you with a little more life, Text you a little faster, And love you, a little deeper. EverythingEverything
At night, while we lie together, I can feel your skin touching mine. And I know everything's going to be alright.
At night, while we kiss under the star lite sky, I can taste your lips on mine. And I know everything's going to be alright.
At night, while we lie embracing each other, I can feel your words surround me. And I know everything's going to be alright.
At night, while we lie under the star lite sky, I can touch your heart, And I know everything's going to be alright.
At night, while we lie together, And the world's spinning around us. One look into your eyes is all I need. Because, after that, I know every Everythingin Poetry and Prose
